Château Corbiac - Pécharmant AOC - Vintage 2010
|
Tasting notes:
Already elected coup de coeur of the Hachette Guide of wines in the vintage 2008, this magnificent Pécharmant comes from a vineyard of 16.5 hectares planted on the slope of a hill exposed south. An ideal situation favouring, in particular, the overripe merlot, which here constitutes 60% of the assemblage alongside the two cabernets and the malbec. Raised for one year, in casks and in vats, this 2010 presents itself in a deep red delivery before unveiling an open bouquet of warm, intimately blending the fruit and wood. The mouth impresses with its volume and its material, supported by powerful tannins already melted that allow the fruit to express itself. If it is already set to delight the taste buds, this wine will also earn to age a few years.

Château Corbiac - Pécharmant AOC - Vintage 2012
|
Tasting notes:
For this pécharmant 2012, the fine and intense bouquet, combines without a false note black fruits (blackcurrant, ripe) and vanilla nuances. The palace, in unison, reveals itself to be ample, bold, round, backed with powerful but silky tannins and a perfectly integrated wood. The finale, long, suave and fruity, leaves the memory of a wine of great harmony and built to last.

Château Corbiac - Pécharmant AOC - Vintage 2014
|
Tasting notes:
According to the Hachette Guide, two words to sum up this cuvée: richness and potential. The dress of a dark red is auspicious. The intense and complex nose expresses itself in finesse on scents of ripe red and black fruits, intimately mingled with a discreet and melted wood. A warm attack, of an impressive volume, a final of a great freshness draw the portrait of a wine remarkably built, powerful, complete and endowed with excellent guarding potential

In 2018, we innovated and shook the established paradigm of winery up, by adopting a biocontrol approach and abandoning sulfur in winemaking. Thus, nature abhors a vacuum, we integrated yeasts (non-saccharomyces) to achieve a bioprotection of the harvest as soon as it is picked. This innovation dispensed with the microbiological vacuum, which characterizes the state of the grapes just detached from their stalks. We decided to do this for all our vinifications starting with the 2018 vintage, of which we are now offering two unique ones:

Château Corbiac - Pécharmant AOC - Vintage 2018
|
Tasting notes:
Sulphur-free (sulphite free) wine, without added sulphites, at first offers a discreet aroma of fine redcurrants, then opens on more intense notes skillfully combining toasted and slightly toasted woody notes, delicately supporting the black fruit aromas of over-riped Merlot. The palate presents gently, an attack that is both ample and structured, which lengthens and refines on the well-integrated tannins, and finally continues gently in a finish all in length and pleasure.

Château Corbiac - Pécharmant AOC - Vintage 2019
|
Tasting notes:
Sulphur-free (sulphite free) wine, without added sulphites, this cuvée has an intense, dark and deep colour, marked by purple hues. The nose is fresh and straightforward, combining black fruits and peppery spices with light notes of blond tobacco. The attack on the palate opens with suppleness and softness on an ample and generous structure, a prelude to the return of the black fruits and spices previously revealed, supported by well wrapped tannins. The finish, of great length, is remarkable for its roundness and smoothness, enhanced by an elegant, finely fruity aromatic persistence.
